New Increased Minimum – Turkey Citizenship Investment Threshold

It has been reported that the Turkish Government have taken the decision to increase the minimum investment threshold for the Citizenship By Investment real estate option from $250,000 to $400,000.

The changes are expected to be published in the official Gazette very soon, after which the legislation will come into immediate effect.

This decision could be related to the rise in prices over the past year and the diminishing supply,  a steady increase in sales to foreign buyers, which is attributed to the Turkish Lira’s depreciation and the new economic policy of low interest rates.
