Grenada CBI Program Update
Grenada’s CBI program achieved another annual high in 2021, with total overall revenues reaching US $104m, up by 11.5% from 2020.
There were 566 applications and 402 approvals, both are also new records.
There were 24 rejected cases, down from 35 in the previous year. Real Estate investment also had an all-time high at US $60m and remained the larger producer over the National Transformation Fund donation (NTF).
The Citizenship Unit (CIU) processed 140 applications in Q4, yet another high in 2021.
Grenada, like all the other Caribbean Citizenship By Investment (CBI) jurisdictions, last month stopped accepting applications from Russians and Belarusians. This will impact significantly on the program’s performance in 2022. However, with the CU’s apparent improvement and the country’s unique position having the E-2 visa treaty, Grenada’s CBI outlook remains positive.

How Do You obtain An E-2 Investor Visa
The E-2 Investor Visa is only available to citizens of countries that have a bilateral investor visa treaty with the USA.
Grenada is the only country in the world that has both a bilateral investment treaty with the USA and an active CBI program.
Grenada’s CBI program allows you to become a citizen of Grenada. Then, as a citizen, you can apply for an E-2 Investor Visa.
Your Application
Successful applicants must invest in and own a minimum of 50% of an active business in the US. On approval they can enter and work in the US to manage their investment.
If granted, the E-2 Investor Visa is valid for five years and can be renewed as many times as you like, provided the underlying investment still qualifies.
