Cyprus Tourism 2018
12 months Figures taken from December 2017 to November 2018 in relation to arrivals were close to 4 million. The Cyprus Tourism Organisation stated, “This is the best 12-month history of Cyprus tourism”.
Although the UK remains the main source of tourism for Cyprus, many other European and Asian countries are on the increase.
Cyprus tourism in November 2018 continued to rise according to figures released by Cystat in December, which show an increase of almost 10% compared to the same period in 2017. In fact, all the months in 2018 closed with historical records over the previous year.
November 2018 arrivals: 158,685 compared to November 2017 arrivals: 144,676, boasting an increase of 89.7%.
January 2018 – November 2018 arrivals: 3,832.062 compared to the same period in 2017 arrivals: 3,553,149, boasting an increase of 7.8%.
