Antigua & Barbuda CBI revenue increased by 36% in 2021

In 2021, the Antigua & Barbuda CIP recorded an increase of 36% in Citizenship by Investment applications, to 466 up from 366 in 2020, with government revenues amounting to US$46m, up from $43m year on year.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced the increase in his budget speech earlier this month

The National Development Fund has taken up the vast majority of CIP applications since inception in 2013. It is the opinion of the Overseas Investor that this trend will change in the medium term as new real estate projects come on stream that offer real value to CBI investors and are up to the standard that has been set by Nonsuch Bay, Tamarind Hills and Moon Gate.
