Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment
The Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship Unit have reported that the country received 672 Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment applications in 2018, more than double the number in 2017, with the last quarter being the most productive.
During the 2019 budget statement, Prime Minister Browne announced that CIP Revenues totalled $100m in 2018 and stated that his government will continue to compete vigorously in the Citizenship by Investment world market by promoting and operating the CIP in accordance with best international practices, including continued strong vetting of applicants.
The Antigua and Barbuda economy recorded growth of 5.3% in 2018, making it the fastest-growing in the CARICOM region.
